Expertise simulation and AI supplier, Altair is inviting entries for the 2021 Altair Enlighten Awards. This annual award is offered in affiliation with the Middle for Automotive Analysis (CAR) for corporations excelling within the space of lightweighting and sustainability initiatives.
The judging classes for the Award embody –
- Sustainable Product – Emissions, lightweighting and security advances in a manufacturing automobile or main system module
- Sustainable Course of – Materials reuse/recycling and water conservation advances in manufacturing
- Module Lightweighting – Mass discount of a automobile module, subsystem or part
- Lightweighting Enabling Expertise – Expertise development that allows automobile lightweighting
- Way forward for Lightweighting – Course of, materials, or expertise not in manufacturing, however has important potential to advance automobile lightweighting

The winners of the 2020 Altair Enlighten Awards included-
Full Automobile winner: Harley-Davidson Motor Firm received the award for utilised electrification to enhance vitality capability of its Livewire electrical bike by 90 %, whereas growing the ratio of vitality capability to automobile mass by 60 %. Nissan was the runner-up on this class.
